“Road to recovery: the UK offshore oil and gas sector blueprint for net zero”
with Deirdre Michie, CEO Oil & Gas UK

As governments and industries across the world look to get to grips with the coronavirus pandemic, the oil and gas sector also face historical low oil and gas prices triggered by a near global economic and industrial shutdown.

With the UK oil and gas sector still critical to the UK’s energy needs, supporting thousands of jobs and making a valuable contribution to the economy, OGUK Chief Executive Deirdre Michie will set out why it is an industry worth fighting for if the UK remains serious about protecting energy security now and delivering net zero in future.
